JS9A Reclamation Grass Seed – A designated reclamation grass seed mixture for arid, impoverished soils. Reclamation grass and its mix of grass species provide stability on areas such as slopes, spoil heaps, and landfill sites and reduce erosion on loose soils. Reclamation grass seed can be used on substrates and soils with a wide pH range and possible heavy metal contamination.

Reclamation grass seed produces tough and durable types of grass that have great drought tolerance, which is essential for British summers. A quality mix of Ridu Hard Fescue, Aberfleece Sheep’s Fescue, Maxima Strong Creeping Red Fescue, Crested Dogs Tail, Highland Browntop Bentgrass, and Bird’s Foot Trefoil is very tolerant of environmental extremes and once established, create an attractive natural looking sward.

Uses include: drought prone impoverished soils.
Conservation areas: Industrial landscapes. Mineral workings, landfill sites, country parks/meadows.
Sowing rate: 25gms/metre square.
Overseeding rate: 20gms/metre square.
Mowing height(min): 35mm.
